Fit
is It When it Comes to Wearing the Hottest Trends

To find the best bras for
you, get a professional bra fitting once a year-more often if
you lose or gain weight. |
A wardrobe is built layer by layer, starting at the foundation.
However, a recent survey found that 70 percent of women start off
their look with the wrong size bra.
"The secret to wearing the latest trends and
styles starts with fit," says Stacy London, co-host of TLC's
'What Not To Wear.' Following a trend doesn't work if you go overboard
and it certainly isn't stylish if the clothing doesn't fit properly."
Once women know which fit flatters them, they can
incorporate clothes and trends that reflect personality, activities
and lifestyle.
London offers the following tips to achieve a great
fit:
• Go pro. Get a professional bra fitting once
a year, or more if you've recently lost or gained weight or had
a baby.
• Befriend your tailor. Hem pants or skirts
that fall awkwardly for a more contemporary look.
• Use what you've got. Find styles that flatter
your body to accentuate the positive.
• Express yourself. Have fun with fashion by
using colors, fabrics and embellishments.
• When you change your clothes, change your
undergarments. The shaping underwire bra that looks great under
a tailored jacket may not be ideal for lounging around or an evening
dinner date.
Women choose bras based on occasions, indicating a
workout session may call for a different bra than a first date.
For example, Bali's Lifestyle Collection includes five categories-Benefits,
Classics, Desire, Downtime and Shape to fit the many facets of a
woman's life.
• Downtime provides plush, cooling fabrics while
delivering all the support women need.
• Benefits combines technology, comfort and
fit to provide a flattering silhouette.
• Classics feature elegant timeless styles with
ultimate support.
• Desire bras let women indulge themselves with
luxurious fabrics, exquisite styling and uncompromising comfort.
• Shape provides women with incredible shaping to give them
the confidence to wear anything well, from knit tops to T-shirts
to sweaters.
Bali is bringing its nationwide bra-fitting
program called Bali Fits 100,000 Women to department stores. Women
can meet with bra consultants to find the bras that best suit their
needs. [NAPSI]
