A fun, family-oriented walk and run, Walk for Hope raises funds

Calif. Gary Bryan, on-air personality from K-Earth Radio, will serve
as emcee of the walk and festival.
Held in cities nationwide, Walk for Hope continues to attract record
levels of participants. Last year, over 7,000 people attended the
Los Angeles Walk and raised over $636,000 for City of Hope. Since
its inception ten years ago, the Walk program has raised more than
$12 million for breast cancer research, treatment and education
programs at City of Hope.
Walk participants help City of Hope maintain its commitment to groundbreaking
breast cancer research, treatment and education, which focuses on
treating the whole person – not just the disease. Breast cancer
survivor Nadine Mosk, who has participated in several walks and
served as Walk chairperson since the first Walk in September 1996,
says “In my 20-year affiliation with City of Hope, and as
an eight-year breast cancer survivor myself, I have seen first-hand
the dedication of the researchers, doctors and staff and the outstanding
results they have achieved in treating this devastating disease.
There truly is no finer cancer research and treatment center.”
