Radio Disney Presents Jingle Jam 2004

Los Angeles – Radio Disney AM 1110 and the City of Westminster Community Services and Recreation Department are teaming up for the 2nd Annual Jingle Jam concert and festival on Saturday, November 13, at the Westminster Civic center. The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and is free to the public.

Beginning at 10 a.m., Radio Disney will present live concert performances by Filipino-American artist Lalaine, who plays Miranda on the popular TV show Lizzie McGuire and Greg Raposo, whose hit single “Take Me Back Home” is currently in active rotation on Radio Disney.

Also appearing are Nikki Cleary who sings the Radio Disney hit song “1-2-3” J*ME (aka Jaimie Lee Hoffman), a 14-year old pop/R&B singer who has opened for artists such as Aaron Carter and Jump 5/Play; Myra, whose song “Miracles Happen (When You Believe)” is featured on the Princess Diaries soundtrack; and The Gemz, an all-girl band whose members are all between 8 and 13.

In addition, special appearances will be made by Mucha Lucha, which airs on Kids WB, and Looney Tunes characters Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras.

Other activities and attractions include pictures with Santa (for a small fee), three tons of snow for kids to play in, safety demonstrations by the CHP, concession booths, giant inflatable rides, a children’s activities area, along with Radio Disney AM 1110 game booths and music. Sponsors of Jingle Jam include Ian’s Natural Foods, Orange County Transit Authority, The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Caliber Motors and City of Hope.

The Westminster Civic Center is located at 8200 Westminster Boulevard in Westminster, just off the 405 and 22 freeways at Beach Boulevard.
